Q: There were reports that you unfairly branded the Malay Angkasawan a 'Monkey' in one of your campaign speeches. While you are entitled to your own views about the space initiative undertaken by the Malaysian government, it is blatantly impolite and childish to indulge in name-calling. Especially when that name-calling is targeted at Dr Sheikh Muszaphar, a Malaysian citizen who was merely a participant in the program.
Is this what you mean by freedom of speech? To insult another person who has done no harm to you?

yeah and I suspect its because of his pedigree having a celebrity chef friend and a father with title and possible his photo-friendly mug that made him won over the other candidate.
How can I believe a person who had trained for a short period dare to call himself an astronaut compared to the real astronaut from NASA, etc who had dedicated their entire life to become one?.
How can I believe a one man show can bring up an entire space industry in Msia when there is already established whole team of space expert in US, Russia and China. What we have here la? Uncle-sawan?

If you were put in his position, with people willing to sponsor a trip into space, would you have declined? Please use your common sense, Dr Sheikh was not the one who came up with the whole program. He was merely one of the many thousands of people who applied. Are you saying that ALL of those thousands of applicants are worst than monkeys?

Suppose she did call him 'monkey', does that disqualify her from being an MP or a State Assembly rep?
I have heard plenty of name calling and ape-like behaviour of many BN and Opposition MPs in parliament.

Dr Shake (supposed to be educated as a doctor) participated in a program that spent taxpayers money
uselessly. Not only has this is hurt our beloved Hannah Yeoh as an individual, it has hurt the whole nation! That makes IT a monkey (a monkey had actually been sent into space before by NASA like a 'hitchiker').
Dr S took a 'crash course' an became an 'Astronaut' hitchiker overnight. Shame on him and the Russians!
Hannah Yeoh should not have called him a monkey. She should have called him "Monyet"
