Question 5

Q: Having just recently gotten married, I am concerned about your ability to juggle the demands of your newfound responsibilities with the demands of the community if you were to be elected. Surely you do intend to have a child of your own one day. Being an elected representative is a full-time job and requires utmost dedicated and focus - would this be an issue and should voters be concerned about it?

Seems like you have a wrong information. Hannah just got married in January 2008. Therefore it is impossible to have pregnant and gave birth in one month's time. So this question you have to ask again in the future.

Madam Ong is 59. What if she falls sick? Or she is away for her Amway meetings?

Are you saying that being in Amway is as time consuming as starting a new family? Boy are you deluded! When you so pointedly said that Madam Ong is 59, it seems that you are implying that people in their 50s are sickly and can't be of use anymore. Show some respect.

John : I like you answer, straight to the point and not overly 'emotional'. Thanks, appreciate it.

lulz! Writer got p w n e d! We're in an IT age where she can keep tabs on developments by email if she is in her trimester.AND she DOES lives IN SUBANG JAYA. Are you thinking that Hannah has to go for checkups therefore not being in service to her Constituency? We have SJMC, Sunway Medical and other healthcare clinics in Subang Jaya itself and a health checkup would take only an hour or two.

Malaysian Voter: Are you implying that PREGNANT WOMEN can't do their jobs properly? I remember my mom working hard to feed our family even when she was 8 months pregnant. She was also Employee of the Month. lulz on you!

Its doesnt matter if she is pregnant or not pregnant / married or not married as long as she is CLEAN

Come on lar, Guan Eng and wife also can juggle their career and marriage, what more Hannah who is younger and have no children yet. Serve people first, marriage can come later.

jian wei : There is more to family responsibilities than going for 'medical check-ups'. But obviously, you're too ignorant to be aware of it.

Ok, let me put it simply. Let's say you're in a HR department of a large multinational. You've been tasked with looking for a person to fill in the role of a regional sales director. The job will require frequent traveling, long hours. You have 2 candidates, both equally qualified. One however, has just gotten married, and may be expecting her first child soon. The second one is still single. Which do you think would be a safer bet?

Use your common sense.

And yes, you claim that I got 'pwned'. Are you even old enough to vote?

malaysian voter, based on all the comments you've shared with us, i'm pretty sure you're a GUY. Who says women can't maintain an equal balance between their family and work? Hannah Yeoh has a Law degree, she owns an Event Management company, she has an amazing IT engineer as a husband and to top that, she was born and bred in SUBANG JAYA! Who else can represent the Subang Jayans if not their OWN people? Anyway, i'm sorry for being rude here, maybe the reason Malaysia is becoming from bad to worse is because of similar minded people like malaysian voter. Have a nice day!
